What is your favorite “famous moment” in business?
Working for 2 months in Israel on Iron Eagle II with Lou Gossett, Jr. In our first scene we were standing outside an F-16 running lines on a chilly morning in Haifa. He offered me a sip of his tea. Then, in character, he tore a strip off me. A truly wonderful actor — and even better person.
Who is your favorite famous actor/actress you have worked with?
Art Carney. Sat beside him in a poker game scene. Instead of going to his trailer, he stayed in his seat while they did the lighting for our two shot. We ended up in a long conversation about baseball, Connecticut (where he lived) and Cannington, Ontario (where I’m from.) I was 23 and he was 67. A prince of a guy.
