Your Favorite “Famous Moment” in the Business:
When I was playing Sir Henry in Hound in the U.K., my leading lady was Sarah Griffith who was a bit of a celeb. having been on a night time soap Emmerdale for a few years. She was dating Joseph Fiennes at the time who was making a big splash on the West End and with Shakespeare in Love. Our Show was running and Sarah had a new play opening in rep at the Vic that I was obviously seeing opening night. Taking my seat this bloke crosses the auditorium and extends his hand and says "Hey Mark, I'm Joe, I'm Sarah's Guy. Just had to say I saw the Sherlock last week and thought it was great and thought you were just bloody brilliant mate." OK, I'll take that!! Anyhow, he'd just got back from the US checking out agents, etc. and so we palled around a bit and there it is.
